Today we are taking a look at the Iron Spider from the Spider-Man 60th-anniversary line. This is the suit that Spider-Man would wear after Tony Stark gave it to him right before Marvel Comics had its huge Civil War event back in 2006. The Marvel Legends Series is a lower-tier toy line that both collectors and non-collectors alike would be interested in. This is an action figure line based on the characters of Marvel Comics, initially produced by Toy Biz, then by Hasbro. This line is in the 6-inch (150 mm) scale, with spin-off lines in the 4-inch (100 mm), 8-inch (200 mm), and 12-inch (300 mm) scale. these figures tend to look good inside and outside the box.
PACKAGING: Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.
Iron Spider comes packed in the new stranded Marvel Legends windowless box. The top of the box has the Marvel Legends logo and a picture of Spider-Man. The Iron Spider's name is right below it. A CG picture of the Iron Spider is displayed in the middle with the Marvel Spider-Man logo right below it. On the left side of the box, we get another CG picture of the Iron Spider. On the back of the box, we have another CG picture of the Iron Spider this time in an action pose. We also get a small picture of the accessories included with the figure. Flipping the box to the right side now we get some comic book artwork.
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
Taking the Iron spider out of the box we can see how nice and bright the red and gold paint is on this figure. I also like that we can port and un-port the legs (waldoes). The Spider eyes and logo on the chest are also sculpted in, this is a little different for Hasbro because that means they can only use this body for this guy, maybe we will get a black repaint down the road to be the Iron Spider from a few years ago, I believe it was Aaron Davis, Miles’ Uncle.

ARTICULATION: How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!
IRON SPIDER’S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
HINGED JOINTED NECK - allows you to turn the head 360 degrees.
BUTTERFLY HING - This allows you to move the shoulder area front and back to get a better range of motion.
BALL-HINGED SHOULDERS - Gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.
DOUBLE-JOINTED ELBOWS - This allows you to bend the arm over 90 degrees.
SWIVEL HINGE WRISTS - This allows you to turn his wrists in a full 360-degree circle while also bending them up and down
AB CRUNCH - This cut lets you be able to bend the figure front and back at the Abs.
WAIST SWIVEL - This lets you be able to turn the figure around 360 degrees at the waist..
BALL JOINTED LEGS - With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.
UPPER THIGH SWIVEL - The leg can rotate around a full 360 degrees.
DOUBLE-JOINTED KNEES - The joint allows you to bend the leg itself back to the butt of the figure.
BOOT CUT - This cut lets you swivel the boot around 360 degrees.
HINGED ANKLES WITH ROCKERS - The ankle hinge allows you to bend the foot front and back. The rockers will enable you to rock the ankles towards the outside and inside of the legs of the figure.

PAINT JOB 5/5 - The paint job on the Iron Spider is very well done. I love how they went with the shiny gold paint. He really pops.
FIGURE SCULPT 5/5 - The sculpting of the figure is perfect. The added touch of sculpting the logo on the figure really makes it stand out.
POSING 4.5/5 - My main issue is I wish they had added one more thing point onto the Spider Legs (Waldoes) it would have made for just that more possibility.
ACCESSORIES: 4.5/5 - WALL CRAWLING HANDS!!!!!
DURABILITY 5/5 - Plastic is excellent on this figure, no worries at all.
OVERALL SCORE 4.8/5 - This is the best Iron Spider figure we have gotten from Toy Biz or Hasbro. The only real downside is the price. With inflation and this being an anniversary figure, it is going to cost a little more than normal.
