Today we are looking at Iron Man from the Marvel Legends Puff Adder Build-A-Figure wave. This figure is based on the Extremis storyline from the Iron Man comic books back in 2006. The Marvel Legends Series is a lower-tier toy line that collectors and non-collectors alike would be interested in. This is an action figure line based on the characters of Marvel Comics, initially produced by Toy Biz, then by Hasbro. This line is in the 6-inch (150 mm) scale, with spin-off lines in the 4-inch (100 mm), 8-inch (200 mm), and 12-inch (300 mm) scale. these figures tend to look good inside and outside the box.
PACKAGING:
Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.
Iron Man comes packed in the new Marvel Legends windowless box. The top of the box has the Marvel Legends logo and the build-a-figure logo. A CG picture of Iron Man is in the middle of the box while the Avengers logo is at the bottom below it. On the left side of the box, we get a picture of the build-a-figure with a list of all the figures you need to collect to complete the figure. The back of the box has another CG picture of Iron Man, this time doing the superhero landing. We also get a small picture of the accessories included with the figure. Flipping the box to the right side now we get some artwork of Iron Man from the comics.
INSIDE OF THE BOX:
Let's take a look at how the figure comes packed inside.
Inside the box, we get the figure in a baggie since Hasbro is going plastic-free. The accessors also come in a little bag.
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX:
Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
Taking Iron Man out we get a really good look at him, Hasbro did a really good job on this guy, The red plastic is a nice shade and the gold really pops on him. All the little details on him make it like he came right out of the comic book.
ACCESSORIES:
Let's see what kind of accessories the figure comes with.
Iron Man comes with a left and right open hands (repulser blast hands), He also comes with two blast effects that can put into the open hands.

IRON MAN'S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
BALL-HINGED JOINTED NECK - allows you to turn the head 360 degrees.
BALL-HINGED SHOULDERS - These give the arm 360-degree rotation and the ability to raise and lower the arm.
UPPER BICEP SWIVEL - This cut lets you turn the whole arm below the cut 360 degrees.
DOUBLE-JOINTED PINLESS ELBOWS - This allows you to bend the arm over 90 degrees.
BALL-HINGED SHOULDERS - Gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.
SWIVEL HINGE WRISTS - This allows you to turn his wrists in a full 360-degree circle while also bending them up and down
DIAPHRAGM SWIVEL - This lets you turn the figure around 360 degrees at the diaphragm.
BALL JOINTED LEGS - With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.
UPPER THIGH SWIVEL - The leg can rotate around a full 360 degrees.
DOUBLE-JOINTED PINLESS KNEES - The joint allows you to bend the leg itself back to the butt of the figure.
HINGED ANKLES WITH ROCKERS - The ankle hinge allows you to bend the foot front and back. The rockers will enable you to rock the ankles towards the outside and inside of the legs of the figure.

PAINT JOB 5/5 - The paint job is very well done on my figure. The gold and yellow paint is really the only paint on him but it is done well.
FIGURE SCULPT 5/5 - The sculpt on this guy is perfect, Looks just how this armor should look.
POSING 5/5 - He can get into the superhero landing pose, so it's a win!
ACCESSORIES: 4/5 - An alt Tony Stark head would have made this perfect.
DURABILITY 4.5/5 - The plastic is good, knee joints might be a little soft but still good
OVERALL SCORE 4.7/5 - This Is one of the best Iron Man figures to date.
